Leonard Snyder, a brakeman on a south bound Rock Island way freight, died at Ellsworth hospital in Iowa Falls, Monday morning of injuries received in an accident at Dows while making a coupling. He was caught between the bumpers and badly injured internally. He was 22 years old.

Transcriber’s Note: Find-a-Grave shows he was born April 18, 1884 and died November 6, 1905. He is buried in Riverside Cemetery which is in Floyd County.
