Died While Husking Corn.
Coroner Dennis was called to Ulster township, eight miles west of Charles City, on the 14th to hold an inquest over the body of Oliver J. Crowell, who died very suddenly while husking corn. Deceased was 61 years old and was working for William Dilary. The two men went to the cornfield and after husking for fifteen minutes Mr. Crowell fell on the ground and expired, the jury returned a verdict of death by apoplexy.

Transcriber’s Note: Find-a-Grave shows he is buried in Riverside Cemetery. He was born May 5, 1844 and died November 14, 1905; however, it shows his middle name as Theodore.
