BRIGHT, TUBBS, BENEDICT

William J. Bright who died July 24 at Elk Point, S.D. and who was buried at Nora Springs, Friday at one time lived in Osage.

He was 75 years old, and when 2 years old, he moved with his parents to Osage, later moving to Fort Atkinson, where he grew to manhood.

He was married Dec. 31, 1874, at Parkersburg to Miss Lillian Adell Tubbs, who with their only son
Dr. Bright, and a great granddaughter, Althea Belle Benedict survive.

After his marriage he farmed for five years near Osage.

In 1882 with his wife and son he moved to Rolfe where he conducted a gereral store for eighteen years.

In 1900 Mr and Mrs. Bright moved to Nora Springs where they have made their home since.

Mr. Bright was a member of the town council and served for a time as city clerk of Nora Springs.
