ADA B. FREDRICKS

NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - Ada B. Fredricks, 92, of Nora Springs, died Friday (Feb. 27, 1998) at the Nora Springs Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Nora Springs First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Richard Pippert and the Rev. Deborah Stowers officiating.
Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Nora Springs.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N.
Hawkeye and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.

Ada B. Fredricks was born May 15, 1905, at Lehigh, Iowa, the daughter of Tom and Stella (Ewing) Dutcher. The family moved to Fort Dodge and later to Nora Springs.

On May 20, 1922, she married George Fredricks at Mason City.

Ada worked for Paul Artz Dry Goods Store, Nora Springs, for 18 years.

She was a lifelong member of the Nora Springs First United Methodist Church.

These left to cherish her memory are four daughters, Mrs. Bob (Frances) Kelley, Mrs Darrell (Wanda) Walker, and Mrs Bernard (Doris) Fitzgerald, all of Nora Springs, Mrs James (Marjorie) Rockwell, Ramona, Calif.; two daughters-in-law, Mrs Melvin (Molly) Fredricks, Mason City, and Mrs Roger (Millie) Fredricks, Stacyville; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George, two sons, Melvin "Mully" and Roger, her parents, five brothers and two grandsons.
