ROBERT R. KELLEY

NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - Robert R. "Bob" Kelley, 69, of 16 4th Street N.E. Nora Springs, died Sunday (Aug. 25, 1990) at China, Maine.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 320 Fifth St. S.E. Mason City, with the Rev. Daniel J. Keppler officating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Nora Springs.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye, Nora Springs, where a Scriptual Wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Kelley was born July 17, 1921, at Dougherty to William and Mary (Gallagher) Kelley. He was a 1940 graduate of Nora Springs High School.

He farmed in the Nora Springs area for several years, and later worked as the owner/operator of Kelley Truck Line at Nora Springs until 1966. He then operated as an independent trucker until retiring in 1986. During his retirement, he enjoyed traveling throughout the United States delivering motor home with his wife Francis.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mason City, and the Nora Springs Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife Francis of Nora Springs, two daughters, Janice Turnbull, LuVerne; and Mrs Craig (Joyce) Schuver of Clear Lake; three sons, Jim Kelley, Evansdale; Jerry Kelley and Jeff Kelley, both of Nora Springs, one sister, Mrs Vern (Dorothy) Jacobson of Charles City; one brother, Tom Kelley of Nora Springs; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
