G. Weigand Dies In Hospital
Services to be on Tuesday Afternoon

George Weigand, 84, Dougherty, died at the Rockwell hospital, Saturday evening, following a lingering illness.

He had been a resident of the Dougherty vicinity for the past 60 years, having come here from Germany.

Surviving are a son, Leonard of Dougherty, and a daughter, Mrs Clarence Worley, Dougherty, a stepson, Edward of Greene and seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. at the Clarence Worley home one mile south of Cartersville and at 2 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church at Rockford.

The Rev. C. M. Busse will be in charge.

Interment will be at the Rockford cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Colonial Funeral home from 4 p.m. Monday until the time of services.
