Drew Jerry Marzen

August 8, 1992 - June 4, 2017

Drew Jerry Marzen, born on August 8, 1992 passed away on the morning of June 4, 2017.

Surviving him are his mother, Stacy Diane Marzen and father, Scott Francis Marzen; grandparents, Dolores and Gerald Marzen; god parents, Jessica Ward and Chad Marzen; Dr. Lena Huebl of Vienna, Austria who was the dearest love of his life, companion and forever world traveler. He was also survived by many friends, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. The honorable Jerry L. Wilkerson and Sandra K. Wilkerson preceded him in death.

A time of gathering will be on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 9:00AM-10:00AM at Holy Name Parish in Rockford, Iowa, with a Mass in his honor to follow. Burial will take place at Dougherty Iowa Cemetery.

Drew lived his life without a complaint and accepted life's joys and challenges equally. He was an example to those who loved him until the end of his life.

In lieu of flowers the family has selected the charity called the “Boot Campaign”. Drew knew several people that were in the military and struggled with life's challenges. The Boot Campaign mission is to promote patriotism for America and our military community; raise awareness of the unique challenges service members face during and after post-service; and provide assistance to military personnel, past, present and their families.
