DENVER, COLORADO - Mr. Ronald Craig Parcher died peacefully at his home in Denver, Colorado, on May 6, 2017, at the age of 64.

Ronnie Parcher was born on June 23, 1952, to his parents Donald and Beth Parcher. He graduated from Rockford Senior High School in 1970. Ronnie then spent two years in the U.S. Navy. He then earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Buena Vista College. On July 6, 1974, he married Margie Hoisington; to this union were born two boys, Brett and Blake Parcher, and Margie’s son, Troy Hoisington, rounded out the family. Ronnie and Margie eventually divorced and Ronnie worked the family farm until he retired in 2015.

An avid Iowa Hawkeye and Green Bay Packers fan, Ronnie enjoyed watching the games and spending time with his sons. Throughout Ronnie’s life, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, carpentry and travel. He was a strong contributor to the local law enforcement.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his mother Beth Parcher; father Donald Parcher; brothers: Mike, Nick and Steve Parcher; sister, Linda O’Rourke; his twin Bonnie Caspers; and brother-in-law and best friend, Jack Caspers.

Ronald is survived by his son, Brett Parcher of West Branch Iowa, his girlfriend, Laurie McMains and her daughter Carley; his son, Blake Parcher of Rockford, Iowa; and his stepson, Troy Hoisington, his wife, Nadine Ritchotte and granddaughter, Alahnie Hoisington of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by his ex-wife Margie Parcher of Solon, Iowa, his brother Larry Parcher and sister Janet Winter.

At Ronnie’s request, no services are planned but a remembrance event will be held at Mulligan’s in Mason City at 4 in the afternoon on May 20.
