Earl Pyle was born 16 SEP 1891 in Sibley, Illinois. He passed away in July 1973, while living in Floyd county, Iowa.

He registered for the draft during World War I, June 5, 1917. At that time he was 25 years of age, married and was a self-employed farmer. It said he was caucasian and had not had previous military experience. At that time he was apparently a resident of Floyd township.

His height was medium and his build was also medium. His hair was light brown, and his eyes were light brown.

He was the son of Frank Pyle (1860-1938) and Eliza Johnson Pyle (1869 - 13 MAY 1944).
Siblings include: William Pyle (1887-1967), Frank Pyle (1901- ?), Vida (abt 1910-?), Nona B. (abt 1903-?) and Arlo ( abt 1894-?)

Earl married Susan Irene ______(1897-1946).
They were the parents of Glenn Richard (1920-2009) and Eldon E. (1918-2001).
