Vicki Lynn (Schlotterbeck) Bissonnette, age 69, of Charles City, Iowa lost her courageous battle with cancer on October 6, 2015.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City for Mrs. Bissonnette on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Janet Dorenkamp, Hospice of North Iowa Chaplain, will officiate. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

Friends and family may gather at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Vicki was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be missed deeply by family and friends. Vicki loved spending time with family, friends, golfing, getting pedicures and spending time in the winter months in Florida.

Daughter of Lynn and Opal Schlotterbeck, Vicki was born on May 8, 1946 in Charles City, Iowa. She was a graduate of Charles City High School and Iowa School of Beauty following high school. She worked various jobs including as a hair stylist in Newton, Howlynn's Office Supply in Charles City, Sara Lee in New Hampton and Pfizer in Charles City. She married Jim Bissonnette on May 3, 2008.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Jim; daughters: Tammy (Mark) O'Hollearn and Raquel (Craig) Jarrard; including five grandchildren: Brooke, Dylan and Ben (Tammy) of Clive, Iowa and Cole and Carson (Raquel) of Fort Dodge, Iowa; brothers: Dennis Schlotterbeck of Omaha, Nebraska and Larry (Jodell) Schlotterbeck of Centerville, Ohio.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents Lynn and Opal Schlotterbeck.

Memorials may be given to Mercy Cancer Center in Mason City, Iowa.
