Franklin Oscar Wilson – 1900 – January 8, 1950

Vinton – Franklin Wilson, 49, died Thursday night at his home here of a heart ailment and complications He operated a farm six and a half miles northeast of Vinton but lived in town. He had been in ill health since last February

He married Helen Starff of Vinton about 22 years ago and came here from Marble Rock 20 years ago.

His wife died in 1946, and two years ago Mr. Wilson married Mrs. Nina Reifenstahl.

He leaves his widow, one son, by his first marriage, Thomas a Student at Iowa State College, Ames; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Lon Wilson, Marble Rock; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Ludwig, and Mrs. Clarence Marth.

Funeral will be Saturday at the Fry-Holland funeral home burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
