Arnold Roy “Arno” Thiemann – December 16, 1888 – July 11, 1950

FORMER MARBLE ROCK MAN DIES AT WISCONSIN

Arnold Thieman, formerly of Marble Rock, passed away the evening of July 11, 1950 at his home at Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Beaver Dam. Those attending the funeral from Marble Rock, were Clyde Thieman, brother of the deceased, and his son-in-law, Keith Kingery.

Arnold R. Thiemann was born December 16, 1888 in Scott, Floyd County, Iowa, the son of William F Thiemann and Mary (Carbiener) Thiemann. (Iowa Birth Record). His WWII Draft record has his middle name as Roy.

He was buried in St. Peters Cemetery, Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin. His tombstone has his last name spelled THIEMANN
