Roger Ray Stock – May 16, 1954 – May 19, 2001

Roger Ray Stock, 47, of Lake Mills, formerly of Greene was born on May 16, 1954, at the Cedar Valley hospital in Charles City, a son of Ivan Ray and Rachel Mae (Baldwin) Stock. Roger passed away Saturday, May 19, 2001, in Northwood.

He was baptized on December 15, 1954, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Greene. He received his education in the Greene Public Schools and as a teenager moved to Colorado where he attended Lakewood High School in Denver.

He later enlisted in the United State Navy where he served on the USS Plymouth Rock. Upon his discharge he returned to Colorado where he was employed for the AMAX Mines in Leadville. He was later engaged in recycling and scrap metal in Washington and Colorado.

In 1985 Roger met Adele Hylback in Everett, Washington, and shortly thereafter returned to Iowa where they made their home.

Roger's interests included his life- long love of motorcycling, camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Stock; step-father, Robert Vincent; and brother, Craig Stock.
