Abby Jeffrey – October 20, 1873 – August 16, 1958

FORMER IOWAN DIES SATURDAY IN HOSPITAL

Miss Abby Jeffrey, 84, of 210 S. Dellrose, died Saturday in a local hospital,

She was born October 20 1873, in Floyd County, Iowa. She moved to Wichita from Rockford, Iowa in May 1955.

Miss Jeffrey was a member of First congregational church and First congregational Church club in Rockford.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Walter Potter, Glendale, California, and Mrs. L. N. Long of the home, and a brother, George Jeffrey, Los Angeles, California.

Funeral services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Rockford. Broadway Mortuary is in charge locally.
