Lewie Fred Swant – December 19, 1882 – June 3, 1969

SERVICES FRIDAY FOR LEWIS SWANT

Lewie Swant, 86, of Marble Rock passed away at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital Tuesday June 3rd.

Lewie Swant was born in Oakwood, the son of Ludwign and Albertina Swant. He farmed in this area all his life.
Survivors include two sons, Cecil of Marble Rock and Harold of Greene; a granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday, June 6th, at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist church in Marble Rock with Rev. Byron Ayers officiating. Burial will be in the West Side Cemetery with Reid’s Funeral Chapel in charge.

**Lewie married Grace Sarah Sebaugh. She died in 1951.
