Nettie Rose (Tyler) Ramsay – June 1, 1874 – July 30, 1958

NETTIE RAMSAY DIED AT CEDAR RAPIDS WEDNESDAY, JULY 30TH

Nettie R. Ramsay, widow of Hugh Ramsay, former Marble Rock resident and resident of Cedar Rapids for the past 8 years died at a Cedar Rapids nursing home at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30th, after a long illness.

She was born June 1, 1874 at New Hampton, and lived the greater part of her life at Marble Rock.

Survivors include a daughter, Maurine Allman, Pacific Palisades, California, and one son, Darrell Ramsay, of Garner.

Graveside services were held on Friday, August 1, at the West Side Cemetery at Marble Rock with the Rev. John Falconer officiating. Hamilton’s Funeral Chapel was in charge of services.
