Albert Moffett – April 11, 1872 – May 28, 1964

Marble Rock – Funeral services were held Sunday for Albert Moffett, 92. He died Thursday at his home in Marble Rock following an illness of several months. Burial was in Westside Cemetery, Marble Rock.

Albert Moffett was born on April 11, 1872, to William H. and Susan Hill Moffett near Clear Lake. He came to marble Rock as a young man and was a blacksmith here until his retirement.

He was married to Nettie Lines, July 4, 1893. A daughter, Beatrice, died in infancy.

Surviving are his widow, Nettie; a son, Blair Moffett, Greene, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Lenora Huggett, Marble Rock; a granddaughter, Mrs. Robert F. Adamek, St. Paul, Minnesota; a grandson, Wesley Graves, Raytown, Missouri; a great-grandson, Jeffrey Graves and a sister, Mrs. George Bakeman, North Olmsted Village, Ohio.
