Clark Melugin -- March 14, 1874 – August 4, 1957
CLARK MELUGIN SUCCUMBED SUNDAY
Clark Melugin, 83, passed away at 9:30 p.m. Sunday August 4th, at a rest home in Clear Lake.
He was born near Marble Rock in 1874 and spent his entire life in that vicinity. He was the son of John and Adeline Shultz Melugin. Until retirement he was engaged in farming.
He is survived by three nephews; John Melugin of Marble Rock, Dalton Melugin of Vinton, W. W. Melugin of Fredericksburg, four nieces, Mrs. Darrow Gates of Marble Rock, Mrs. Aldo Wiegman of Allison, Mrs. Ed Fluelen and Mrs. Carl Sweet, both of Wisconsin.
Four sisters and four brothers, two in infancy, preceded him in death. Funeral services are being held today, Wednesday, August 7, at 2:00 p.m., at the Methodist Church in Marble Rock and will be conducted by Rev. E. G. Steinman. Burial will be in West Side Cemetery.
