Arthur Frank Sheets – April 16, 1878 – January 28, 1965

BURIAL SERVICES HELD FOR ARTHUR SHEETS, 85

Interment services were held in Hillside Cemetery Saturday afternoon, January 30 for Arthur Sheets, 85, a former Marble Rock resident.

Mr. Sheets who had lived in Charles City was making his home with a daughter, Mrs. Frank Bach, in Des Moines at the time of his death.

Mr. Sheets is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. Estella Oldham of Charles City, Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) Bach of Des Moines and Ray Sheets of Charles City.
Also surviving is a step-daughter, Mrs. Joe McCauley, of Charles City, and a grandson, Keith Oldham, of Charles City.

Arthur Frank Sheets was born April 16, 1878 in Iowa the son of Levi Sheets and Lydia (Sturtz) Sheets.

His first wife was Rachel Helena (Shafer) Sheets, who died April 24, 1917.

After her death he married Ida Helen Debban, the daughter of Wilhelm Debban and Maria (Labs) Debban.
