William E. Halstead – November 6, 1868 – April 25, 1930

WILLIAM HALSTEAD, 68, FORMER FLOYD COUNTYAN, DIES IN FREDERICK, WIS.

Marble Rock, April 26 – Word has been received here that Will Halstead, 68, a former resident here died at his home in Frederic, Wisconsin. His brother, Ned Halstead, has left to attend the funeral which will be held at Frederic.

He was a son of the late Thomas Halstead and wife, pioneer settlers of Marble Rock. He is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters.

William E Halstead was born November 6, 1868 in Floyd County, the son of Thompson Halstead and Antonette (Kinney) Halstead.

He married Sarah Lines, the daughter of Peter Lines and Nancy (Judd) Lines.

Burial was in Westside Cemetery, Marble Rock, Floyd, County, Iowa
