Lewis Charles Gooler --- July 30, 1851 – April 20, 1941

LEWIS C. GOOLER DIED AT CHARLES CITY SUNDAY

Lewis C. Gooler a former Marble Rock resident, who moved to Charles City a few years ago, died at the Cedar Valley hospital in Charles City Sunday afternoon. He had been a patient in the hospital for four days.
Mr. Gooler had been ill with pernicious anemia for nearly a month.

He was born in 1851 at Goshen, Vermont, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gooler.

He is survived by Mrs. Gooler and eight children, George L Gooler of Olympia, Washington, Mrs. Laura Boileau of Milltown, Montana; Joseph A. Gooler of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mrs. Lily L Ducharme of Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Rose Billadeau of Bacus, Minnesota; Mrs. Lottie Darby of Saint Mary’s, Idaho; William H. Gooler of Coeur-d-alene, Idaha, and Ray V. Gooler of Lanett, Alabama.

Funeral service was held Tuesday morning at the Immaculate Conception Church, the Rev. Father Kirk acting as celebrant. Interment was made in the West Side Cemetery at Marble Rock.
