Minnie Irene (Dunning) Doore – July 25, 1879 – March 10, 1961

MARBLE ROCK RITES FOR MINNIE DOORE

Marble Rock – Funeral services were held Monday in the Methodist Church here for Mrs. Minnie Doore. She died Friday at Cedar Valley Hospital, Charles city.

Mrs. Doore was born Minnie Irene Dunning, July 25, 1879 near Marble Rock. She was married To Allan W. Doore on September 2, 1897 and they farmed in this area until his death in 1946.

Surviving are a son, Harold, Charles City; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (June) Brallier, Boone and Mrs. Paul (Kathryn) Smith, Urbana, Illinois; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Alice Norton, California.
