Clarence Lee Reinhart – April 28, 1896 – July 2, 1973
RITES HELD FOR CLARENCE REINHART
Clarence Lee Reinhart was born at Prophetstown, Illinois, on April 28, 1896, the son of Frank & Ethel Reinhart, and passed away Monday, July 2, 1973 at the age of 77 at Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City following a lingering illness.
At the age of 6 he moved to Iowa with his parents. As a young man he spent several years farming.
Mr. Reinhart was married to Olive Dunning February 8, 1917. He continued farming until he moved to Illinois and worked for John Deere Company. While there he joined the Masonic Lodge of East Moline, Illinois. In 1946 he moved back to Iowa where he farmed until retirement.
Survivors include his wife, his step-father, Will Erdman, Waterloo; 3 daughters, Mrs. Walter (Luella) Stover, Mason City, Mrs. Gaylord (Ruth) Thorne, Earlville, Illinois, Mrs. Jerry (Thelma) carmen, Des Moines; one son, Roger, Marble Rock; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one sister Veda Pearce, Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and a grandson.
Funeral services were held Thursday, at Reid’s Funera Chapel in Greene with burial in Westside Cemetery, Marble Rock. Rev. Carroll Robinson was the officiating clergyman and Masonic rites were conducted at graveside by Cornerstone Lodge No. 251 A.F. & A.M. of Marble Rock.
