Olive Faye (Dunning) Reinhart – January 1, 1897 – September 10, 1973
OLIVE REINHART RITES HELD SAT., SEPT. 22
Olive Faye Reinhart was born at Marble Rock on January 1, 1897, the daughter of William H. & Agnes Jane nee Galbraith Dunning & passed away Wednesday September 10th, at the age of 76 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Mason City, following surgery. At the age of 4 she moved to their new home, 3 miles west of Marble Rock where she received her education.
She was united in marriage to Clarence Lee Reinhart February 8, 1917 and one son and 3 daughters were born of this union.
They lived most of their lives on the farm except for 11 years in Marble Rock and East Moline, Illinois. They returned to the farm in 1946, where they resided until the death of her husband on July 2, 1973 after which she moved to Shalom Tower in Mason City.
Survivors include one son, Roger Reinhart, Marble Rock; 3 daughters, Mrs. Walter (Luella) Stover of Mason City, Mrs. Gaylord (Ruth) Thorne of Earlville, Illinois and Mrs. Jerry (Thelma) Carmen of Des Moines; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Will (Iva) Boom, Marble Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a grandson.
Funeral services were held Daturday September 22nd, at Reid’s Funeral Chapel in Greene wth burial in Westside Cemetery, Marble Rock. Rev. Carroll Robinson was the officiating clergyman.
