Howard Franklin Bailey – May 26, 1875 – December 20, 1959

RITES HELD TODAY FOR HOWARD BAILEY

Howard F. Bailey, 84, died on Sunday evening in the Cedar Valley Hospital in Charles city.

He is survived by three sons, Charles W. of Clarksville; Leon D. of Council Bluffs and Kenneth H. of Charles City; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon Rex of Marble rock and Mrs. Albert Hennings of Snohomish, Washington.

He is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. His wife passed away on November 21, 1959.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock in Bethel Baptist Church with burial in West Side Cemetery. The body is at Hamilton’s Funeral Chapel in Marble Rock

Howard Franklin Bailey was born May 26, 1875 in Pennsylvania, the son of William Thomas Bailey and Alice (Markle) Bailey.

He married Alice Louisa Voelker, the daughter of Henry Voelker and Caroline (Myschien) Voelker
