Milo John Peterson was born June 21, 1907 at rural Rudd, Floyd, Iowa to Johann Jacobsen Pederson (b January 30, 1865 West Salem, LaCrosse, Wisconsin, d August 21, 1940 Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa) and Ida Mathilde Huset (b November 30, 1880 Northfield, Jackson, Wisconsin, d 1942 Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa). Milo had an older brother, Orin Jester (b 1904).

Found in the 1910 census living at Rock Grove, Floyd, Iowa: John J. Peterson 45, Ida Mathilda Huset Peterson 29, Orin Jester Peterson 6, Milo J. Peterson 2.

Found in the 1930 census at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa: John J. Peterson 55, Ida M. Peterson 49, Milo Peterson 22. Milo is working as a clerk at a shoe store.

Milo married Orene Althea Leese on November 30, 1930 at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa. Believe the couple had one son, John. The couple lived at McGregor, Iowa.

Milo J. Peterson died on January 1978 in Iowa.
