LAST RITES HELD FOR SHEFFIELD MAN

NOLAN C MOZENA PASSED AWAY LAST MONDAY

Sheffield, Iowa, October 9 – Nolan C Mozena, who had been a resident of the Christensen Convalescent home for many years, died early Monday morning, following a long illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Wartnaby Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Dodd, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren church, in charge. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery at Rockford.

Mr. Mozena was born March 15, 1875, at Van Meter, Iowa. He came to Sheffield thirty-five years ago. His wife preceded him in death in 1018.

Surviving are two sons; Clair Mozena, of Sheffield, and Darold Mozena, of Inglewood, California; one daughter, Mrs. G. V. Carman of Waverly; two sisters and one brother.
