Lulu Belle (Potts) Morrow – August 13, 1873 – August 10, 1934

MRS. MORROW FUNERAL CONDUCTED AT ROCKFORD

Rockford, Aug 14. – Funeral services for Mrs. Willard Morrow, southwest of here, were held at the Methodist Church Monday afternoon. The services were in charge of the Rev. E. a. Sabin and burial was in Riverside Cemetery.

Lulu Belle Potts was born at Dunlap, Illinois, August 13, 1873. At an early age she moved with her parents to Princeville, Illinois, where she grew to womanhood. On October 3, 1894, she was married to Willard Morrow.

In 1901, the Morrow family moved to Marble Rock where they lived until moving to their present home 27 years ago. Mrs. Morrow was president of the Community Ladies Aid Society and a member of the Methodist Missionary Circle. She became ill June 30th and was taken to a Mason City hospital and died Friday afternoon.

Mrs. Morrow is survived by her husband a daughter, Mrs. Charles Briggs, three grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Charles Everetts, Vincinnes, Indiana; Mrs. Nettie Stewart, Laura, Illinois; Mrs. Ida Fulton, Davenport, Iowa; Mrs. Paul Cutler, Princeville, Illinois; also two brothers George Potts, Princeville, Illinois; and Lewis Potts, Davenport, Iowa.
