FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR NORA SPRINGS MAN, 73
THOMAS G TRELOAR WAS SUPERVISOR OF FLOYD COUNTY FOR 13 YEARS

Nora Springs – Funeral services for Thomas G. Treloar, 73, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church with the Rev. William Butler of Iowa Falls, former pastor here, and the Rev. Robert Davies, present pastor, assisting.

The singers were Mrs. O. L. Hanson and Mrs. E. C. Moody assisted by Mrs. Kenneth Shanks at the piano. Pallbearers included C. E. Kluver, F. W. Schmidt, Henry Buckman, B. R. Moos, J. Wilson. Honorary pallbearers were J. W. Wyatt, J. L. Harr. Burial was in Park Cemetery.

Mr. Treloar was born in Lancaster, Wisconsin. They lived on the father’s farm near Lancaster and moved to a farm two miles east of Nora Springs now owned by Carl Swedberg. After selling the farm home to Mr. Swedberg they moved to their present home in Nora Springs in 1919.

Mr. Treloar was county supervisor of Floyd County for 13 years. He was a member of the Methodist church.

He is survived by his wife and three children, Mrs. Ethel Shanks of Nora Springs, Elmer Treloar of Clear Lake and Mrs. Marie Dobson of Nora Springs; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and a brother, John Treloar of Nora Springs.
