Margaret T (Whitesell) Frost – July 26, 1856 – April 26, 1922

Mrs. Frank B Frost, a resident of Rock County for the past forty-four years, died at her home last Sunday evening at ten o’clock. Death was occasioned by an attack of pneumonia, which had confined Mrs. Frost to her bed, since Tuesday, where the severity of the case was first realized.

The deceased, whose maiden name was Margaret T Whitesell, was born at Nora Springs, Iowa, on July 26, 1856. In 1878 she moved to Luverne where she worked for several different families in Luverne and vicinity, until May 5, 1879 when she was married to Frank B Frost.

For a number of years after their marriage the couple lived on Mr. Frost’s farm about five miles south of Luverne, after which, with the exception of one year where the farmed in Texas, they have lived in this city.

Mrs. Goldie Croft residing at Bradford, Iowa and Mrs. J. E. Fabrick of Brookins, S. D. were among those from out of town who attended the funeral. Besided the husband, Frank Frost, they are the only surviving relative.

The funeral services were held Tuesday morning. The body was interred in the Maplewood Cemetery.
