CHARLES WILDE, 67, IS BURIED
FORMER NORA SPRINGS MAN DIES IN MINNEAPOLIS OF HEART DISEASE

Nora Springs, Oct. 14. – Funeral services were held for Charles H. Wilde at the Christian Church in Nora Springs in charge of the Rev. G. A. Hess, pastor of the Christian Church at Charles City.

Mr. Wilde was born at Saratoga Springs, New York, April 11, 1863, and died suddenly at his home in Minneapolis October 9, 1930, from heart disease.

When he was two years of age he came with the family to Illinois and three years later settled in Iowa near Niles in Floyd County. In 1896 they moved near Nora Springs into the Rock Grove community.

In 1899 he married Miss Myrta Brown. Three children were born to this union, Goldie, Blaine and Wayne. About five years ago they moved to Charles City, later to Minneapolis.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrta Wilde; one daughter, Mrs. Goldie Phippen, and Wayne, all of Minneapolis. Also by three sisters, Mrs. Win Waters, Nora Springs; Mrs. David Carte, Charles City; Mrs. H. L. Douglas, Grand Meadows, Minnesota; two brothers, John Wilde, Palaika, Florida and George Wilde, Nora Springs.
