Lynn Thomas Patterson died January 20, 1986.

He was born October 31, 1914, on a farm southwest of Charles City, Iowa. He was the son of Robert Hill Patterson (1877-1959) and Etta Carter Clark Patterson (1878-1934).

Lynn was married to Dorothy J. Marietta (1913-1986). Their children include: Terry Patterson (1936-2013), and Stephen Kevin Patterson (1950-1968).

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and Korea, attaining the rank of Chief Warrant Officer (CWO2) - Ordnance Department, Persian Gulf Command.

Lynn is buried at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery, El Paso, Texas; plot I, 247.
