Anna N (Andersen) Huffman – January 3, 1879 – July 26, 1957

MRS. W. F. HUFFMAN 78, DIES

Anna N Huffman, 78, widow of William F Huffman died early Friday morning at a Mason City hospital. She had lived in Mason City 40 years and made her home with her two sisters at 221 ½ N. Federal.

Mrs. Huffman was born January 3, 1879, in Denmark, daughter of Peter and Christina Andersen. She was a member of the United Commercial Travelers Auxiliary and the First Methodist Church of Mason City. She was police matron in an early day.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. W. H. Ross and Cora Percival, Mason City, and a niece, Mrs. Dick Postma, Mason City. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Major Funeral Home is in charge.

ANNA N. HUFFMAN SERVICE HELD AT FUNERAL CHAPEL

Funeral services for Anna N. Huffman, 78, who died Friday at a Mason City hospital were held Monday afternoon at the Major Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Charles F. Haigh, associate pastor of the First Methodist Church officiated.

Mrs. Roy Servison was organist. Members of the united Commercial Travelers Auxiliary attended in a group. Pallbearers were Emil J. Bohn, L. b. Eaton, J. C. Dickinson and Oliver V. Olston.
Burial was in Rock Grove Cemetery at Nora Springs.
