Polly Ann (Elery) Crawford – ca 1858 – February 6, 1940

MRS. CRAWFORD SUCCUMBS AT 82
WOMAN WAS RESIDENT OF NORA SPRINGS FOR 20 YEARS

Nora Springs -- Mrs. Polly Crawford, 82, died at her home here Tuesday afternoon.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o’clock at the Martin Shecker Funeral Home. Burial will be in Marshalltown. Services will be in charge of Stanley Haynes of Mason City, pastor of the Church of Christ here.

She is survived by a son, Earl, of Charles City and a granddaughter. She lived here more than 20 years.

Polly Elery was the daughter of Daniel Elery and Mary (Alexander) Elery. She married Edward (aka Edwin) Crawford.
