Nellie (Breakey) Deach – July 4, 1891 – September 30, 1961

MRS. DEACH SERVICE SET FOR MONDAY

Nellie Deach, 70, widow of John Deach, former deputy sheriff of Cerro Gordo County, died Saturday morning at the Good Samaritan Home. She had made her home at 16 14th Place N.W.

Mrs. Deach was born July 4, 1891, at Rudd, daughter of James and Henrietta (Boyer) Breakey. She was married to John Dech, October 3, 1911 at Charles City.

Surviving are a sister, a brother, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1948 and by two daughters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Patterson-James Chapel. Visitation was scheduled after 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
