NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - Trudy (Marshall) Squier, 65, of Nora Springs passed away peacefully Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at United Methodist Church, 202 North Hawkeye, Nora Springs, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made out to Hospice of North Iowa or Nora Springs Ambulance Service.

Trudy was born January 29, 1950, to Orville and Armitta (Armstrong) Marshall and was one of four children. Trudy graduated East High School in Des Moines in 1968, following her graduation she attended college in Maryville. She also worked in the family music store that her mother and father owned in Des Moines. Trudy married Bruce Squier on March 5, 1978, in Burwick and became a partner in a farming operation.

Trudy enjoyed crafting, tending to her flower garden, bowling, dancing, art designing and spending time with family and friends that were held dear to her.

Trudy is survived by her husband, Bruce Squier of Nora Springs; two sisters, Joyce (Leonard) Reed of Norwalk, Karen Hessel of Muscatine; brother in-law, Brian Squire of Belmond; sisters in-law, Marry Dickens of Adel, Lou Ann Wogstad of Stacyville, Karen Koenig of Stacyville, along with numerous family and friends.

Trudy is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Craig Marshall; father in-law, Kenneth and Shirley (Volkman) Squier; brother in-law, Randy Hessel.
