CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Randy Ferch Sr., 61, of Charles City, died Saturday, December 20, 2014, at home.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, with Pastor Jane Keel of Messiah Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Charles City.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday until service time at the funeral home.

Randy Edward Ferch, Sr. was born February 16, 1953, at Charles City, the son of Burdette "Doc" and Ruth (Volbrecht Bork) Ferch. He graduated from Charles City High School in 1971. Randy married Michelle Gifford and they later divorced.
On November 19, 1977 he married Debora Reddel. They later divorced. Randy worked for a time at McCann Construction and for several years as a manager at Allstates Quality Foods. He also was proprietor of Randy's Construction. His interests included hunting, fishing and playing cards. Randy always looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren.
Living family members include five children, Marcy Ferch of Georgia, Ron Ferch of Mason City, Rachel (Allen) Smith of Kentucky, Randy (Carrie) Ferch, Jr. of Charles City and Rebecca (Michael) Ferch of Kentucky; a brother, Keith (Betty) Ferch of Charles City; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Bork.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Phillip Bork; and two sisters, Janice Bork and Phyllis Gifford.
