ROCKFORD, IOWA - Judith Ann Glass, 66, of Rockford, died November 5, 2014, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 9, at Farber & Otteman Funeral Home, 1120 W. Main St., Sac City, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at the Cory Grove Cemetery, rural Sac City.

Memorials may be directed to: Richard Glass, 601 First Ave Southwest, Rockford, IA 50468.

Funeral Service: Sunday, 2:00 p.m., November 09, 2014 at Farber & Otteman Funeral Home, 1120 W. Main, Sac City, Iowa.

Interment: Following the service, November 09, 2014 at the Cory Grove Cemetery, rural Sac City, Iowa.

Judith Ann Glass, age 66, of Rockford, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at her home in Rockford. Judy was born May 23, 1948, to Donald and Carolyn (Pathcin) Springer in Hackensack, New Jersey. She was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist faith and later joined the Lutheran Church. She attended school in Hackensack. In 1961 the family moved to Charles City, Iowa, where she graduated from high school in 1966. She earned her BSN in Nursing at North Iowa Area Community College.

On July 3, 1971, Judy was united in marriage to Richard David Glass in Glenville, Minnesota. They were blessed with two sons, Robert and Michael. Judy worked as a Registered Nurse at several nursing homes in Charles City and at Mercy Hospital in Mason City. She was a very caring and dedicated nurse. Judy adored her husband, sons and grandson. Spending time with them was the highlight of her day. She also loved her cats, riding in her Corvette, and traveling.

Survivors include her husband Richard; son Michael Glass and grandson Derick all of Rockford, Iowa; sisters-in-law: Joann (Duane) Schramm of North Highlands, Ccalifornia, and Freda (Dale) Meyer of Schaller, Iowa; extended family members and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and son Robert.
