Marble Rock Weekly, Marble Rock, Iowa June 23, 1887

The news rapidly spread over our city last Friday that Mrs. T. S. Clark, daughter of Mr. John Wallace had suddenly died at her home near Charles City on that day. The body of the deceased was brought to Marble Rock for burial. Owing to the rain on Saturday afternoon the funeral sermon was postponed until Sunday morning, but the remains were interred on Saturday afternoon, being followed to the cemetery by a large number of relatives and friends. The deceased leave a husband and several small children to sincerely mourn her loss.
