Sheffield Man Dies in Kentucky After Lingering Illness

SHEFFIELD - Funeral services for James L Mozena were held in Sheffield Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the Warmaby funeral home with the Rev B. Brown in charge. Burial was in Rockford.

Mr. Mozena died March 30 in the U.S. Veterans hospital in Outwood, Ky., from a lingering illness.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1923 and saw active service in many parts of the world. He was honorably discharged Oct. 6, 1933. He was also a member of the V.F.W.

He is survived by his father, N. C. Mozena, one sister, Mrs. G.V. Carman, two brothers, C. Mozena, all of Sheffield and D.C. Mozena, Oakdale.
