Iowa Deaths

Charles City - Funeral services were at Grossmann funeral for Mrs. Louis Boeck, 72, who died Saturday of a heart attack at her home, 1001 Court Street; born Dec. 12, 1887, in Charles City, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Schwandt; on Nov. 25, 1896, she was married to Louis Boeck of Charles City; following their marriage the Boecks lived on a farm in Niles township for 15 years and then returned to Charles City; leaves husband; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin Frank and Mrs. George Dormon, both of Charles City; a brother, Otto Schwandt, Walla Walla, Wash., four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; August Schwandt, a brother, died in July and Mrs. Emil Thom, Charles City, a sister, died last year; two other brothers and a sister preceded Mrs. Boeck in death.
