Charles City - Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Grossmann's chapel for Mrs. Emil Thom, 66, who died Friday night in Cedar Valley hospital, where she had been a patient one day; death was due to a heart ailment; burial in Riverside cemetery; born July 16, 1882, in Charles City, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Schwandt; attended Charles City public schools and was married to Emil Thom Apr. 22, 1903; leaves husband, one son, Grover Thom, both of Charles City; one granddaughter; two brothers, Otto Schwandt, Walla Walla, Wash., and August Schwandt, Tacoma, Wash., and one sister, Mrs. L.G. Beck, Charles City; two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
