Hold Funeral at Rudd for Mrs. Helen Alward

Rudd - Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Alward, who died early Friday morning at Mason City following several months of illness, were held at the Methodist church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. E.E. Clemente officiating. Burial was a Rockford beside her husband, who died in 1934. Surviving Mrs. Alward is one brother, James Messmore of Minneapolis and several nieces and nephews. She was 83 years of age and had been a long time resident of this community, coming her from Illinois in 1881.
