Margaret Viola Conry, 78, of New Hampton, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at New Hampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on March 21, 1932, in Charles City, daughter of William and Frances Schultz Nelson. She married Dale Conry July 3, 1951, at Immaculate Conception Church, Charles City. He died December 23, 1989.

Mrs. Conry graduated from Immaculate Conception School, Charles City, and worked for Liddle's Super Valu for many years. She retired from Beatrice Foods, Fredericksburg, and was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Mary's Center.

She is survived by two daughters, Dianne (Dave) Mix of Rochester, Minnesota, and Joanne (Kipp) Jones of New Hampton; four grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Billy (Marie) Nelson of Cedar Falls and Johnny (Kathy) Nelson of Thompson.

She was preceded in death by a son; three daughters in infancy; and a brother, Tom Nelson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Parish-St. Mary's Center, New Hampton, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Greene. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home, New Hampton, with a 6 p.m. Scriptural wake service. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
