John B. Ingram

John Burton Ingram of Mesa, Arizona, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at his home. He was born May 23, 1948, in Charles City, the son of John T. and Arlis (Kline) Ingram (both deceased) He attended Washington grade school and graduated from Charles City High School. While attending High School he also was employed at Guthart Grocery.

John served four years as a radioman in the U.S. Navy including a year in Vietnam. Following his service he attended Southwest Community College in Creston.

On May 26, 1972 at Creston, he was united in marriage to Becky Cooper. To this union a daughter and son were born.

The family moved to Mesa, Arizona, where John was employed as a office machine repairman until his retirement.

John is survived by his wife Becky, daughter Naomi Ingram, son John L. Ingram, granddaughters Erika and Sara Mentzer and his stepmother of Charles City Marguerite Ingram.
