LA PORTE CITY, IOWA - Vincent J. Graham, 70, of La Porte City, died Friday, April 21, 2006, at Allen Hospital.

He was born July 27, 1935, in Floyd County, Iowa, son of William and Mary K. Schmitz Graham. He married Mary Ann McNamara on July 25, 1959, in Waterloo.

Mr. Graham was employed with John Deere for more than 31 years, retiring in 1989.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Michael (Nancy) of Abilene, Texas, and Richard (Sue) of La Porte City; two daughters, Debbie (Rick) Hess of Elk Run Heights and Penny (Mark) Sherbon of La Porte City; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob of Elk Run Heights and Chuck of Waterloo; and a sister, Bernadine Schneider of Mountain Home, Ark.

Preceded in death by a brother, Art; and two sisters, Bernice Smith and Sharon Wenner.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in West View Cemetery, both La Porte City. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Huisman Funeral Home, La Porte City, where there will be a 5 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
