Tilda Helene Jeglum was born June 29, 1879,​ on her parent's farm at rural ​Rudd, Floyd, I​owa to Ole​ Thorsten Jeg​lum and G​uline Isabel​le Lundene, the fourth of their eight children​. She was baptized on August 24, 1879 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Her baptismal sponsors were: Anton Lundene; Hans Henriksen; Olea K Lundene and Inger Lundene.

Found in the 1880, 1885 censuses at rural Rudd, Floyd, Iowa:
1880: Ole Jeglum 32, Ingbor Jeglum 28, Lena Jeglum 8, Albert Jeglum 3, Thilde Jeglum 1.

1885: Ole T Jeglum 38, Isabelle Jeglum 33, Lena Jeglum 13, Albert Jeglum 7, Tilde Jeglum 5, Ottis Jeglum 2.

Found in the 1895 census at St. Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa: Tilda Jeglum age 15.

Tilda married​ Gilbert Enoch Wi​lliams on June 4, 1902 at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa, probably at the First Lutheran Church. Do not believe they had children.

Found in the 1910 census living at Adams, Walsh, North Dakota: Gilbert Williams 36, Tillie Williams 30.

Found in the 1920 census at School District # 5, McCone, Montana, Husband is farming: Gilbert E Williams 47, Tillie H Williams 40, Isabel G Jeglum 68.

Found in the 1930, 1940 censuses at Long Beach, Los Angeles, California:

1930: Gilbert E. Williams 57, Tillie H Williams 51, Isabelle Jeglum 79.

1940: Gilbert E. Williams 67, Tillis F Williams 60.
