Oliver Jeglum was born October 29, 1889 at rural Rudd, Floyd, Iowa to Ole Thorsten Jeglum and Guline Isabelle Lundene, the youngest of their eight children. He was baptized on November 16, 1889 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. His baptismal sponsors were: Mr. & Mrs. Knud Lundene; Hans Syverson and Simon Syverson.

Found in the 1895 - 1905 censuses living at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1895: Oliver Jeglum age 5.

1900: Isabella G Jeglum 49, Oline Jeglum 27, Clarence Jeglum 14, Oliver Jeglum 10.

Oliver moved to North Dakota with his brothers. He married an Alice Anderson and believe they had three sons.

Found in the 1910 census living at Fancher, Ramsey, North Dakota: Oliver Jeglum 21, Alice Jeglum 19, Orvald Jeglum 11 mos.

Found in the 1920 census at Patterson, Stanislaus, California; says he is a mineral laborer. Oliver Jegluin 30, Alice Jegluin 28, Orville M Jegluin 9, Clayton A Jegluin 6.

About 1926, the couple divorced and Oliver is found in 1930 with a Nancy (no last name known).

Found his wife and 2 sons in the 1930 census at San Jose, Santa Clara, California but his name is not listed; says she is divorced and working as a laborer in a canning factory.

Found Oliver in the 1930 census at Oakland, Alameda, California: Oliver Jeglum 40, Nancy Jeglum 25, Clayton Jeglum 17.

Oliver Jeglum died on October 30, 1958 at Alameda, California but did not find his burial site.
