Funeral services will be at 2 p.m, November 15, 1950, Tuesday at the Grossmann funeral home in Rockford for Mrs. William Ballhagen, 66, who died in Cedar Valley hospital at Charles City, Saturday following surgery; had entered the hospital Nov. 8; burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Rockford; born February 1, 1884, the daughter of George and Sarah Frashier; she and her husband had farmed southeast of Rockford for several years; leaves husband and six children, Emmett Ballhagen, Taopi Minn.; Glenn Balhagen, Rockford; Raymond Ballhagen, Rudd; Lawrence Ballhagen, Rockwell; Mrs. Lawrence Draeger, Hampton and Mrs. Roger Calease, Waterloo; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and two half-brothers.
