HOLD RITES OF MRS. ARNDT, 87

Had Been Confined to Bed
Since Mishap Year Ago

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Amelia Arndt, 87, widow of William Arndt, at her home, 203 Eighth Avenue, with the Rev. J. K. Hawkins, pastor of the Central Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Arndt, who died Saturday had been confined to her bed since she fell a year ago. She had lived here 54 years.

She is survived by three daughters and two sons: Albert Arndt, Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. L. M. Frankenfield, St. Charles Township; Anton Arndt, Ruthven; Mrs. Lou Pesch and Mrs. Cliff Weatherwax, Charles City. There are nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
